The gallery has the authority to turn away any work that is not equipped with proper installation hardware, is not structurally suitable to be installed in the gallery, or if the images submitted in the proposal were inaccurate in representing the appearance of the work in person.

Commission Structure: All work that is on display must be for sale at the start of the exhibition, exceptions for individual works or installations are possible on a case-by-case basis after a review by BAU Gallery. BAU Gallery receives a 40% commission and the Exhibiting Guest Solo Artist receives 60% on sales of all work on display in the gallery during the entirety of the exhibition’s run. If a piece is sold as a result of it being on view at BAU Gallery, the artist is required to process that sale through the gallery for one month after the end of the solo exhibit’s run (August 4th, 2027).
Artwork Delivery and Pickup:The selected artist must deliver and install all artwork in person and remove it after deinstall at the conclusion of the exhibition. The gallery cannot accept work requiring shipment and will not be responsible for return shipping. We recommend that applicants live within a 70-mile radius of the gallery, though artists living farther away are welcome to apply if they are able to fulfill all in-person delivery, exhibition, and pickup requirements.
Alterations to the Space: All significant changes to the gallery space, like wall color, need to be approved by the Gallery.
